i was atthe german namm(musikmesse) last week i met manfred fricke, the guy
who builds mfb, he showed a new drumcomputer the 522 a very little
tr808 clone, it sounds real fat 808 like!
it ll be in th e stores soon.

Nice setup Modular, so you say u got a Micro Modular huh, great synth!! I loved mine, was hooked making patches day and night I would sit and play on it lol
The mk1 modulars sound so much better than the V2's imo too

I agree the Novation sounds digital..I would call it plastic having owned Supernova's and A/K(s) stations
The fx make the sounds realy not fit in the mix imo and cheesy too esp the cheapo reverb but take them off and it sounds week. Thought my Bass Station rack was better.

What kind of tunes are you making on that setup? Lets' hear something...I dont care about genre

wow very impressed very nice set up...whats funny is that is my ideal set up and what im striving to have...
i had the mc 808 sold it to cop my mpc..happy with my decision..had trouble getting with mc 808 workflow..that thing does come packed wit sick sounds tho.
how do u like it?

Making beats on the mc808 is limited but as a sound module trigered by the MPC5000 now you talking.
