My NV slider isn't really broken,

but if I want to use it, i have to push down on it and jiggle it down for it to really work(hard to explain)?

Like, if i just move it, it wont do anything, i have to push down and give it pressure?

What should i do? im in the so cal area?

Your solder points on the slider contacts probably broke loose. It's easier just to open up the MPC and solder it yourself. Easy job.
