Re Boot disc for mpc

Does anyone have a link to the boot up disc for the mpc 2000xl,my mpc crashed,and everytime i load my mpc i have to put boot disc in,think i need a updated version of it though

Boot up disc???? Do you mean the OS disk? OS 1.2---> http://www.forat.com/Downloads/MPC2KXL1_2.zip
The XL doesn't need the OS disk everytime you turn it on. The stright 2000 does need it.
If I remember, there are some jumper connections on the 2KXL motherboard for booting. But if you haven't messed with the jumpers at all, your XL might be Fkd dude!!! :shock:

Hmmmmmmm... I don't know if you can flash the ROM so it will clear it and accept the OS again. Anyone???

i would think so... that is how you update the os...
