There is no such thing as the best keyboard for the mpc. The choice of a keyboard depends on a person's style and how he likes to work.

Also another question why do want to sell your xp-60? Have you completely upgraded that keyboard? The roland xp has a wide variety of sounds especially if you upgrade it. I wouldn't sell it. You might want it back one day and you can always use it as a controller or module.
Also do you want a keyboard that has good action or one with good sounds or both?
I can give you some good keyboards to buy but what I like might be what you hate.
For Brand new keyboards there are a couple of choices people tend to rave over. They are:

Korg Triton
Yamaha Motif
Roland xv88

No matter what anyone tell you, no keyboard is better than the other. If you tell me your style (don't say rap. Rap could be anything. Give me something like Neptunelike, Drelike, etc. I'll have a better idea then) I might be able to lead you in the right direction. Also tell me if you've been playing piano for a while. (That's a good indicator for what type of keys you may prefer).

the motif might be best for you.....has alot of world/acoustic authenic sounding instruments in it

the motif is kinda difficult to use for some....you are warned

the keyboard player in the roots rocks the triton classic.....

good luck
