Looking for tribal drums...

I don't really have a specific example to give, but I'm looking for tribal or african style drums. Whatever you think of when you hear the word tribal is what I'm looking for. Even if you just know a few names of drums to look for. I have sampled a few records, but I'm really trying to get a few really good programs set up. Thanks in advance...

I rock a Djembe drum... a lot of cool tones and sounds out of it, definitely African. Pretty standard but also versatile.

Are you working on some tribal house?

I will deffinately check out the Djembe. I'm not working on house music, more like soundtrack type of stuff. I've always loved really powerful drums. I guess the best example I could give would be Peter Gabriels the Last Temptation of Christ soundtrack, if you've ever heard it... In that area anyways...
