Great Deal or Sketchy?

Might grab a 2500... and these seem like the best deal, anyone know anything about this deal or company? I don't trust that rebate

Not that great of a deal...

The seller has alot of rep so I would assume its legit.
Theres no description of the rebate though.

That's what I figured... couldn't find a trace of a rebate anywhere. I wrote them and they assured me the rebate works, but when I asked to see the form they didn't reply...

dude go to guitar center's used gear list,,they have a few in there for under 8....round 750 or 799...then just call and ask about the condition its in...mine came from there and it looked brandnew,,,with 80gig hd and 128mb and cd/dvd drive..

Strange, they must have raised the used price now. I see em all but $1000 and up now!

Hey Whats up Everybody. To da guy who started the thread...I ended up buying that MPC2500 off of Ebay from that guy. He is an Authorized Akai Dealer in NYC. The lowest he would go was $1175+tax because im in NY. Free Shipping Too! I mailed in my Rebate Slip(said it has to be postmarked 30days after the end date). So I have yet to see if I get my $300 back from AKAI.
By the way...The unit is working fine. Came with the Power cable, and a 128MB Cf Card. Only thing shady was of the Q-Link Buttons was a little jammed. I freed it, and it works fine. My assumption is that dude probably has a lot of "B" Stock Mpc's in stock. Not sure!
So far Im satisfied. Either way it was a good deal!

Played wit it last night...And I definitely need more RAM in it!
