when a track is on mute, ill press the pad and get no sound (duh) but i dont remember this happening before. i know if i record sumthin, then mute the track i wont hear what i recorded on that track, but i should still be able to press a pad on the mpc and get sound right? is there a way to turn that off? it only happends when im trying to play sounds from an external source (i.e. my motif rack) but not with sounds stored in the mpc.

Weird, this happened to me when I updated from OS 1.21 to OS 1.22... It totally didn't happen before, but still happens to this day.

DJ Hellfire wrote:That might be why. Try running the Motif to the same mixer the MPC goes to instead of running the motif into the MPC.

i would run it like that but my Mackie gives a lot of feedback noise (that hisssss) when i have everything else running thru it before the digi002...i only run the mpc thru cause it makes my kicks and 808s knock harder
