Does anyone else's 1000 occasionally not trigger samples

THIS was what I mentioned back in feburary.

Man i got my mpc in march and if i new it had so many bugs i would of gotten the mpc2kxlz

this whole thing is a ****... youd think that they can make a sample play without getting it all messed up. I just set up my MPC to just loop a two-bar Isley Bros sample to see what would happen, and WOULDNT YOU KNOW IT... somewhere down the line, it cuts out like 1/2 way through the sample, and then continues and doesn't do it again. Weird and ANNOYING!

sometimes i let a beat play for a while and the sample cuts off for a few bars and then starts playing again at the beggining of the sequence.

i bought mine in Massachusetts.

does anybody notice the 1000 missing samples when you are just triggering simple one shot samples? for example just a beat without any loops and longer samples playing along with it?

like will it just miss a hi hat hit every once in a while ?

damn i was planning to buying one but if hit has so much shitty bugs it got me questioning..

did yall upgrade to os 1.05 ?

I just forwarded a copy of each page of this forums topic to AKAI support in Australia & Head Office. Lets see what happens?

Sometimes I have had my tap tempo button also trigger samples. Hasnt done this in while, but it has been freezing on me... anyone else experienced this?

there are work arounds. i figured this out.

well its still a bug- akai please fix it!

so picture this.. im standing on stage ... mpc1k in front of me i've got a song going... really killer beat and OH whats this?? the kick drum sample drops out for a bar???

how can you work around that??

this is the ONLY thing holding me back from buying the 1K im aware of its limitations and so on but feature for feature its perfect for my needs However this problem is something that cannot be overlooked... so until AKAI gets off their asses!! and fixes the problem you won't catch me buying one of these
