Pro Tools & MPC 200XL

Is it possible to send sequences containing multiple sounds/MIDI Channels into Pro Tools as MIDI Data? I have no problem sending in sequences that contain 1 sound bank, but when I want to send in sequences containing multiple midi sound channels I have to send these as audio from my sound module (Planet Phatt) into the 001. Is there another way?

hmm...(scratching head) It's too late to think that hard.

Try to save your MPC sequence as a standard midi file onto disk. Save it in both midi file formats. I forget which one will work best for your situation. Anyway, then put the disk into the Mac, copy the midi files on your hard disk and open them in Pro Tools. It works. I've done it. I just can't remember the format for multiple channels.

If you name each track in the MPC, that will show up too.
