changing from one program to another

Im new to the mpc and i recently got a mpc mcd. Whats happening is it wont let me load more than 1 program at a time. I create a simple beat then try to change to another program to get a different sound and everything i just did changes to the new program. Need some help with this one

One program per track. Go to a new track to use a different program.
