I'm not being a smart ass here. I really want to know why some people still use the Akai OS. I just commented on onother post that made me ask this. Especially if the latest Akai version doesn't even fix the file issue that can ruin your work? Is it fear that an OS from a third party may somehow damage your expensive piece of equipment? I can understand this logic to an extent, but when you have a serious issue with the files... What do you really have to lose? Is it waranty issues? Is it the money? Even if you got a great deal on the Mp 1000, isn't it worth another hundred bucks to bring your Mp to a level that rivals the top of the line Mps? Or even just download the free version, get some more features thet you never have to use, and avoid losing the work you create? I can't imagine anyone being sorry that they did.
