it took me months to figure out how to setup my pc and audio/midi interfaces with my gear. mostly reading other peoples posts, trying understand how everything works, googling the whole 9..my take on this is if you completely lost then you're not ready for this step yet...
you can have a specific question but it seems most of you dont even know where to start. it's like you guys wanna run before you know how to walk....that's why most people get bashed on here asking questions like they too lazy to start figuring it out on their own. concept of every setup is the same, there are few different ways of setting up your gear but basics are the same.
youtube it, most people are obsessed now days and film about anyting and everything, from wack beat making videos to helpful shit like how to get your gear setup...look it up get involved with it rather than just trying to get to job done to accomplish your goal.
