honestly that things just for show. (At least to me) i barely ever use any of those racks but my boy tone cant stay away from them.

in the process of building a new desk and organizing my room, but took this quick picture.

Why do you have your power conditioner @ the top of your rack?

If you really need a single space rackmount mixer you should check out an ASHLY LX-308B, a RANE SM82S, or a Speck X-Sum. I'm not just saying this because I'm a Behringer hater. I've bought some decent stuff from Behringer that was useful for the price. Their RX1602 was not one of those products. It was lacking in the low end and the highs sounded harsh. Also, two of the RX1602s I bought from the local shop both had faulty main outputs where the right channel was louder than the left. I saved up for the ASHLY and I definitely don't regret it. The build quality is also stellar and they have a 5 year warranty.

my Eurorack sounds great to my ears. No faulty pots here...

Id have it placed @ the bottom of the rack so that none of power lines are running up the rack and possibly crossing any of the outs on the modules. But then again im not entirely familiar with the pieces that you have.

As far as the mixer goes i wouldnt sweat it if it works. Ive had several behringer rack devices that all worked fine while i had them.

Classically MDUs always go at the top of racks, so it follows that a conditioner or UPS would sit directly underneath it.

Why do you have your power conditioner @ the top of your rack?

I have that same monster power conditioner and I wouldn't dare put that thing underneath anything, with it fully plugged that thing tends to give off a ton of heat. Plus in the installation manual it says that the top is the best place to install it.

Got a new production partner who moved some of his stuff over here. We're not done yet but we've been converting the living room.


The TV is a computer monitor now

Cooler? Because it does look hot, sweaty, and dusty in there! So is that all of the gear combined?
