MPC 2000xl screen

I purchased and mpc 2000xl off of ebay but the screen looks like this in users photo, is it going to die soon??

ive owned a MPC 500 and used a 2000 xl in my audio school but never owned one, but this does not look right to me.

looks like the backlight is blown

is this attainable seperately from the screen i know teh screens are type rare, and cost a grip too

it looks like its in good condition to me,,just needs a back light,,,,wich u can find on the net,,,its a 4 inch or a 100mm ccfl,,then u just have to re wire it into the screen,,2 wires,,

did anybody ever put a colored one in?? i was thinking about the blue.

SO DOPE!! cant wait to get mines in the mail! i need to clean it up, fix the rotary encoder, new backlight, and card reader.
