possible to load mpc2000xl sequence in the mpc500?

Hi fellow mpc:ers,

Is it possible to load mpc2000xl sequences (midi data) in the mpc500?
how will the sequence correspond to the mpc500 pgm?

the reson to why Im asking this is because I have loads of unfinished beats on my mpc2000xl back home.
Would be nice to transfer a couple whenever Im traveling with the baby mp.
