sonic quality in sampling different methods?

i wonder

would you say the sound/sample sonically changes if the record is

A: sampled directly into the mpc

B: sampled to the computer first for better handling (WAV high Qualitiy Audio Interface)

C: whole song is recorded to the computer (WAV high Qualitiy Audio Interface) and than single parts are again sampled to new WAV`s inside the computer?

I recorded my whole record collection onto a hard drive (10,000 pieces)
I go digital digging on my computer and edit all the chops i want, before loading them into my machine.

The sound of a record will only change at the point of analog-to-digital conversion, i.e. your A/D converters will be what imparts any change onto the sound. So to answer your question, possibly. This will depend on the sound that you get when recording the audio drectly into the mpc using it's A/D converters, vs recording into your soundcard/interface on your computer and usig it's A/D convertors (assuming you haven't modified any parameters in the recording software you are using (eq, volume, etc)

i doubt the converters in the mpc could do anything better to the sound than the interface ones... i dont know if the mpc`s (magic) allready starts in the recording converters???

Yes it does but the question is if someone could hear that little difference. I would say there are not many people who can hear it.

oh and the "magic" (in my opinion) is the way you can "santurate" the Preamp of the MPC
