what u can do is play whatever out 2 another sampler than re-edit back to ur 3000..
thats about as close u'll get on the 3000 as far as re-sampling.

I use the delay on the 3000 quite a bit.

it's in the edit sample menu - if im not mistaken in the same window where you kill start and end points - it's only resampling at half bandwith - but it's resampling... 
- my point was that akai had samplers with a resampling function before the 3k came out...

I would go back at check that, re-sampling wasn't on any of the early model S-series or MPC samplers.
If you remember that's how the ASR-10 hit so hard it showed people the advantage of resampling.
I know for sure the S-950 I owned didn't re-sample, it would down sample.
Akai distorted perception by calling "sample rate conversion" ...resampling.
Believe me that's a big difference from being able to resample something, which is to route it through filters effects etc and make it something new.
Was really important for freeing up effects inside of a sampler make drum variables and stuff like that.
Now if that's what you are referring to is the down sampling type "resampling" that Akai typically used, then I quietly slip to the background.
