When the name of a sample is changed, the name assigned to the program is not changed.

Time shift does not work at the time of TC=OFF.

[SHIFT]+{BAR_R] [SHIFT]+[BAR_L]
A screen breaks.

It does not memorize.

Moving notes in grid edit still buggy.
Simult won´t come back.

It´s a tough call for me OS 2 or 2xl. We need the one perfect OS and i´m not sure if JJ is still willing to do it.

I'm glad to see JJ still working on MPC OS software.

He just added some quirkiness which i can´t figure out, it basically became more unpredictable.

Here it goes:

1. Go to grid edit (drum track)
2. Activate TC 1/16
3. Insert a note at 001.00.00 and one at 001.03.00
4. Select the first note, position reads "001.01.00 (0)"
5. Move the note 3 ticks to the right, position now reads "001.01.03 (3>)"
6. Press cursor down, the note is moved correctly
6. Select the second note (shift + bar right)
7. Select the first note (shift + bar left)
8. Move the note two ticks to the right, position reads "001.01.05 (5>)"
9. Press cursor down. Bug: note is moved to "001.01.08 (8>)" [Seems like the same bug as in 1.13]
10. Go to the position field again
11. Press cursor down. Bug: note is moved to 001.01.11 (11>)
12. Move the note two ticks to the left. Position reads: 001.01.09 (9>)
13. Press cursor down. Bug: note is moved to 001.01.12 (<12)

Explanation: When you select a note that is not on the TC grid, the offset of that note from the grid will be added to the operation.
So on step 8 i move the note two ticks to the right, it gets moved 2 + 3 = 5 ticks.
On step 11 i move it 0 ticks, it will be moved 0 + 3 = 3 ticks.
On step 13 it moves -2 + 3 = 1 tick.

If you deselect the note in between and select it again the "3" will be replaced by the current offset from the TC grid.

So, when IS grid edit nudge going to be fixed I wonder.
JJ said that it was going to be fixed in this update, in the email that he sent me.
Guess all I can do (again) is wait (again) for the next update whilst crossing my fingers (again), or just go back to OS2 or OS1.

I am going to wait until this thread have more hits and reviews before I jump into the update.

One this is clear atleast we are getting updates. AKAI bullshit OS tech group have been sitting on there hands for the past decade.

Just turn the TC to OFF and the GRID works fine.
