I guess that's what I mean by cooler because it's not hot or sweaty, but you caught me on dusty.

It's all of the combined gear that we decided to put in for now, we each have more but I don't know what we're going to end up doing.

My room looks cool and clean but messy. I think it's cause the walls are white. I'm getting a camera soon. 8)

The bigger question is: "Why are you running several thousand dollars worth of excellent sounding professional gear through a cheap ass Behringer mixer?"

If you really need a single space rackmount mixer you should check out an ASHLY LX-308B, a RANE SM82S, or a Speck X-Sum. I'm not just saying this because I'm a Behringer hater. I've bought some decent stuff from Behringer that was useful for the price. Their RX1602 was not one of those products. It was lacking in the low end and the highs sounded harsh. Also, two of the RX1602s I bought from the local shop both had faulty main outputs where the right channel was louder than the left. I saved up for the ASHLY and I definitely don't regret it. The build quality is also stellar and they have a 5 year warranty.

I stand corrected!

I didn't really pay attention to my levels on this unit... the left side barely moves and when you turn the levels/volume up past the half mark, all my modules start to sound like crap. just like you described...

I'm about to order the ashley from sweetwater.. hopefully they can get it to me by tomorrow..

Thanks all. I just got the motif and finally got everything like I want it...
I'm just using a crappy Rolls phono pre right now until I can find something better. Any recommendations? I don't really need a dj mixer right now and there's a million "hi-fi" phono pre's on the market that I know nothing about.
