Hey, new to the forums. I just upgraded from MPC 500 to 1000 but have an issue...

I bought it brand new, and after reading the instructions found it very similar so there are no problems with using the thing but...As I insert my card it was kinda though. I did not force it but when I looked inside, about 8 of the prongs are crooked. Anyone else have this problem? Or the price to get it fixed? I didnt do anything wrong as I know of so did I just get screwed over or something....?

Yeah before I upgraded I did hear a lot of flack about the pins being an issue, I tried to be careful but I guess I **** them up anyway....Will they fix it free or will I have to pay to get it fixed? Never had any issues with my 500 before lol....or had to contact them for anything

Use a pen to move all the pins back.

At this point anything is worth a shot.

Tried that recently and didnt work. The company I ordered it through is sending me another and told me to send the current one back. I guess im fortunate...I never had this issue with my 500, and I made sure not to force it in and somehow like 8 of the prongs were haywire...
