mpc saving tempo

im running jjos1


even if i save the entire memory the mpc wont save the tempo of the song . so if i make one beat at 120bpm then i go

back to an old one then it will just be at the last tempo that i had when the mp was on. im not really complaining but

just wondering if anyone here writes down the tempos of their beats or something like that cause even though it only

takes me about a minute to figure the original tempo its kind of annoying sometimes

whats does it say next to the tempo?

it will either be (seq) or (mas)

i dont know ive had it as both. itsa not really a big deal. but like i was playin a beat live with somse of my friends and i realized after loading up the thing that it was the tempo that my previous beat that i made was. eh whatever

maybe it has something to do with "master" and "sequence" tempo?

idk the only thing i can think of is

say u make a beat on Wednesday for example and only use the sequence tempo, like say u had 3 sequences and u just made them all the same instead of using master and save it

then u make a beat Thursday but u decide to just use the master tempo option for the sequences and save it


i think if u load up wednesdays beat and then flip the sequence tempo to master it will be on thursdays beat tempo


meaning, i think the mpc just puts the master tempo in a higher slot in order of importance.
i just started getting in the habit of labeling the mpc session folder with the tempo like cool beat 95bpm
