I don't like the way you have to use a F Key for it. Would be so much better if you could do with with Shift + Pad! Much more natural for where your hands usually sit.

whats the real diff between holding shift + a pad , and holding F + a pad?

Hand positioning. Shift is under where your right hand will naturally sit. Function buttons means moving up, possibly crossing across where you are performing (assuming you want to change active track which in the middle of a live set, which you will want to do constantly if you use QLinks) and thus breaking the flow.

You do if you want it to deactivate itself after making a new track active. You only want to activate a new track and then continue using track mutes. If you just press it then it turns on activate mode and each pad you press will be activated in turn. Hold and press pad and it activates it and goes back to pad mute mode.
