compact flash : maximum?

Hello,

What is the maximum size for a compact flash for MPC1000, with OSJJ 1 ?
Is 4GB accepted by the MPC ?

BTW, do you prefer using a harddisk (IDE ?)

yes 4gb will work. i prefer a hard drive.

I have a Seagate 6gb "Microdrive". Works Great! Read the Sticky on "CF".

I use a 8gb SanDisk Ultra II.

i use in my mk1 everyday a 233X cf 16 gb maxflash.

Sandisk III 4GB working...

Make sure you get a card faster than SANDISK ULTRA II. I switched to SANDISK EXTREME III (8 gb) and it's about three times faster... I tested load/save times.

Ditto on the SanDisk Extreme III (8GB) - works great.
I use both the hard drive and the CF card. I use the CF card to move stuff around, flash the OS, my most used kits, etc.

i've never used over 2gb.........
