track mute

My Track mute does not work any more, I was wondering if I put a new OS would that reboot the problem, I dont want to take it to get serviced becuase they may charge alot of money

might be dirt in your button. take off the case and clean it

Spray it out with compressed air and/or reinstall the OS.

its unlikely an OS issue, try the compressed air approach, if that doesn't work, its your tact switch..they're like, 30 cents at a mom/pop electronics store..fairly easy swap if you've done any type of soldering before..
