nah man im cool on that one

thanks anyway though.

(an nah my sequences werent empty i played the whole song while in song mode, it just silenced the rest of my song after four bars after i converted it.. weird)

ok so problem fixed.

this is what i did wrong lol it was botched from the get go
ok when i sampled from my yamaha i can only sample thru the headphone jack on it right, so that being i had my mpc set to record stereo instead of mono which is what it should have been on so i started a new project and sampled from the yamaha this time using mono instead of stereo and problem solved i am so happy right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks everyone for all your help.

Green's right. If i remember correctly there was this annoying thing in the last os that it sometimes randomly set the repeat times in some sequences in song mode to zero so that the sequence went on playing in an infinite loop. You had to delete that event from the song and add it again for it to work properly again. Really you're way better off with a new OS.
