Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hey i thought this might be useful for any mpc500 user, who wants to stretch their samples on the mpc, not on the computer. Since the mpc hasn't got a function witch allows you to alter the pitch without changing the tempo i made a sheet which will help you doing this manually. It shows you the bpm or stretch ratio in percent to what you must stretch the sample depending on the amount of semitones.
I uploaded two versions of the sheet:

The pdf, witch is good if you just want to print it out and keep it with you wherever you take your mpc, and the Excel-file, where you can alter the original bpm and it will calculate the bpm for the new sample. In the Excel-file you can also easily add semitone steps if you need to shift a sample only lets say 0,3 semitones.
Excuse me if somebody has already posted a similar sheet. Hope you find this useful though.

Sorry for being a noob but erm......

can someone explain?

Is it if i want to alter (for example) from 100bpm to 90bpm, i have to follow the semitone listed beside 90bpm so i can achieve altered pitch without my desired 90bpm being affected?
