I have Protools Digi 001 and the MPC synced, and midi data recorded into Protools. But it I can not hear it, yet regular audio plays through Protools okay. Any ideas why.

MIDI doesn't contain any audio...

u can, but midi is data, not sound

Think of MIDI as the score that the conductor reads, not what the orchestra is playing.
