I try to install the JJ OS 4.99 for MPC1000 and now my MPC won't boot. It starts searching and then says "A correct OS file wasn't found.....system halt. How do I get the new OS up and running. Please, help ONLY.

sounds like a virus. i had a similar problem with my hard drive on my computer and i had to clear my hard drive completely, then reinstall os. so format your flash card, scan your computer for viruses and updates ( because there was a big virus going around recently), then download a fresh copy os the jj os onto your CF card.
good luck & i hope you don't need it.

FAMOS: Thanks for your advise! Lucky enough i was the one doin wrong procedures.... I was trying to install the JJ OS directly on the HD (from Akai OS to JJ OS) wich is WRONG... The first time you MUST install it on the CF card, so i put my CF card into my computer and downloaded the JJ OS into it, then back into the MPC1K, and BAM it worked.

Thanks
