Samples gets Mono after Slice

Im using an MPC 1000 with JJOS 3.08 free, I get a stereo sample, get it sliced, get the samples convert to sliced samples and I get Mono samples. What im I doing wrong?

you sure you're using the JJos? This is the way the chop function works on Akai's OS but i didnt think that it happened with JJ

Im sure about JJOS, but its the free version, I knew that the akai os did that, but JJOS free too, that's retarded!

yea thats strange. I went directly to the paid version when I got my 1k and never looked back. The stereo to mono thing would piss me off too much.
