format floppy

I have a floppy drive on my 2000 xl, I downloaded a new OS to unstall on my MPC but when I load the disk it say unknown. It reads whats on the disk but when I press load to copy or open the file it say unknow..
do I have have to format the disk first on mpc, I dont have this problem with regular WAV. files

Yep, first try formatting it with your mpc, and then it should all be good i guess!

Make sure you don't have the ".zip" file on the floppy disk. Just the ".bin" file.
