i'm going to with... 1973 - there almost seems to be a unanimous decision on that. But 73 was the year apparently. But I also feel like there were different genres that dominated different decades...

typo right? you mean 1988.

i'm a great lover of house, but haven't heard much good stuff after about 1992.
for 1998 i'm struggling to come up with any producers other than maybe theo parrish and moodymann. ron trent was in holding pattern at that stage.
some great parties at that time, though. body and soul and bang the party (where i used to dj).
ant recomendations?

yeah i dont go past 95 myself but there was stuff by armend van helden,angel alanis,Timos mas, but again the name s dont stick to mind,
after 05b thats what it seemed like there was SOME good music but not good enuff to stick in your head, like stuff from the 80's, this goes for all music IMHO

well 1997-98 mainly for my fave artists like Daft Punk (Stardust & Kight Club), Cassius, Mr. Oizo, Basement Jaxx, The Crystal Method, Adam F (Colours), Modjo, Chemical Brothers ,Fatboy Slim, Wildchild (not hip hop)...

i love house music but i dont really like the OG 909 and 303 tracks... i like post 94 more sample based Funky House or "Disco House" some like to call it...

i do enjoy some Mixmasters tho.

i still dream of getting a 909 tho... one day, one day.

but they blew up in 97-99... i was fukin 9-10 years old man give me a break... im still surprised i remember how i use to record their music vids on to tape and cassette and every Friday walk from school listen to Stardust and Cassius on my way back home.
