MPC 1000 JJ OS2 manual that actually reflects the program?!!

Bought a MPC 1000 second hand.

It has JJ OS2 0.80

Getting really frustrated going through the only manual I found... it doesn't actually have the same screens as the program.

Is there a manual somewhere that actually has the same screen sets?

Please help! I only have 1 month to learn it inside out!!

get a more recent version of os2 from JJ's site, 0.80 was more like a public beta as far as i can remember( with associated bugs and such). theres links to jjs site in the jj forum.

thanks for that. now up to date with OS2.

however!

the manual i have still refers to windows that are not available.

examples like :

T.C. is hidden (found it now)

WHOLE is hidden (found it now)

in the manual "autocromatic sample assignment" section says :

"Move cursor to Tune and press Window" to get to this action, but it not there.

is there a different manual for OS2? Where can I find it?

Also isn't auto-chromatic assignment XL only? Are you sure you means OS2 and not OS2XL?

Just being nosey. But why do you need to learn it inside out in 1 month? Good luck with that.

u probably wont get everything down in a month unless ur working on it all day everyday i learn new ish everyday

well, maybe inside out is a too big a challenge... it's going to be part of my live drum rig i'm building... have a gig in a month and want to rinse! seen?

hmmm.... i'm pretty sure the autochromatic function is in the jj os1 manual that i found....
