Does the music indust have a fiscal year...because i heard that it gets slow around winter.

As far as Im aware all legitimate businesses operate within a fiscal (or financial reporting year/ accounting year).
In the UK the fiscal year runs from a day in the first week of April until the previous day of the following year.
