recording from thing from my computer into akai mpc 60

recording from thing from my computer into akai mpc 60

hi
i dont know anything about the akai mpc. i need to know how to record things from my computer into the akai mpc 60 and then back into my computer where i use ableton live. i also need to know where my line in and line out need to be plugged into the back of the akai mpc 60. thanks. i have read the manual but it seems it is only relevant if ur using the floppy disk which i am not.

Well are you wanting to do MIDI communication or just transfering audio back and forth?

In order to record sounds from your mpc(audio) into your PC you need to go from the OUTPUTS on MPC to the INPUT on soundcard. Being that you didn't provide much information I really can't go into much detail.

First off what soundcard do you have?

In order to record sounds from your PC(audio) into your MPC you need to go from the OUTPUT(s) on the PC to the RECORD IN on your MPC.

If you provide more information and I get back on here I'll respond back.

Your manual shows you exactly, didn't u say you read it?!?!?!

The manual will get you up and off the ground with the MPC, it's not a computer manual, it's an mpc manual.

maybe you should also check out tweakheadz.com for beginners studio diagrams, audio/midi cable routing and alot of other big help items.
