no spin button?

what is the no spin option for when you're in the load window ? I've never found any use for that other than shutoff the hard drive which is not noisy at all anyways

Yeah, and while they were at it, Akai should've also added a backlight button to save the LCD screen backlight when not in use like what they had on their older S series samplers (The LCD contrast knob also doubled as a backlight on/off button).

An even better solution would be to implement a software screensaver option (Like in the E-MU Ultra series samplers) that will allow the backlight to be turned off automatically if the MPC isn't touched after a user specified period of time (like 5 mins to 1 hour). As soon as a pad is hit or button is pressed, the MPC's backlight would come back on just like your Windows PC monitor when the mouse or keyboard is touched. That would definitely prolong the life of the backlight.

I never touched it, never used it lol.

Maybe I should try it out?
