I'm getting an MPC 2500 really soon. I just want to know what should I get along with the MPC.

I bought a Korg m50 with mine 2500 and never looked back it got me off da drugz in a big way!!!!!peace markus pee

Read the manual first. If you don't you'll get flamed on this board, fast.
Then use the search feature. If you don't find what you want, use google to find it. such as a search like this:

Then when you're thought you've read everything, read some more, and work on your beats more.

a pile of records. tuntable to play them on, a dj mixer or preamp to make the signal loud enough for the mpc.
other good source of sampling:
any old synth for $200.
a shure sm57 mic.

A pair of good monitors or at least some good headphones.
Get at least one good big Compact Flash card.
Then you will need to sample something -- yourself, your guitar, synth, CD player, turntable, radio, TV etc. What to get depends on your needs and style.

A pdf manual from the akaipro.com site, it will server you well.
Don't underestimate the power of a manual.
