I've been reading tutorials, but it says you need 2 midi leads for in and out. All I want to do is play riffs on my midi controller keyboard (oxygen v8) using samples in the MPC, such as bass and strings. I dont have a midi interface, just the out from the keyboard going to the in on the MPC. MPC goes straight into studio monitors.

Is it possible because I have tried everything from Google and these forums and cant seem to do it.

Midi cables and audio cables are seperate routes.

Isn't there a diagram in the front of your mpc manual?

midi type track.

Yes, u can use your oxy to playback samples inside the mpc.

I've done the exact same thing you are trying but with my triton extreme and my asr10.

I'm not familiar with your 2500 screens, pages or your oxy pages and screens though.

But yes, people here have used and oxy and 2500 before. I've read it mentioned before.
