that wasnt powder coated. powder coating doesnt leave orange peel, because its baked on, allowing surface tension to smooth the molten powder at high temperature. powder coating actually makes the entire surface into a single molecule. thats why its so tough.

+1 that definitely looks like just paint.

usually candy-powder coat is more translucent. and the chrome type color which is usually the underlay, usually looks kinda different than the one shown on the mpc.

that mpc paint looks more like a metal flake type paint:

Everyones entitles to their own opinions, but I've never had any complaints on the looks of my mp. I personally would prefer to have the letering , but when your working with chrome, its not that easy, paint just doesn't stick. I may just order another face and get some kustom paint and even maybe get the stenciling re-printed. Anyone have any ideas on where I can get the lettering stencils? I really don't need any letters on my machine, I know it like I know my own ballzack.
I think I paid around $80 for the crome, I painted the candy myself. Got the logos printed out by a local guy I know.

maybe style flipping it with a clear sticker that has the letters. will also prevent scratches and finger prints maybe.
