I've recently found a shop in a shopping center near me that sells loads of old soul, motown, classical etc. Best thing is there 3 CDs for £5. Spent £30 in there today, lots of goodies. I usually buy vinyl, but I've found a lot of the old stuff on these CDs.

Think I might start using CDs more often now.

some times , i only get CDs if i cant get it on vinyl,
i record movies on to cd and then sample that.

i haven't sampled from cd yet. but i keep an eye out for just such comps. probelm is i get bored looking through secondhand cds.

Yeah, nothin ever beats the buzz of looking through records in a second hand shop and finding the one you been looking for years at £1 or rushing home to listen to the rest of the stuff ya bought that just cos it looks like its hot from the label or cover..
