Ok Im running on jjos 2xl my youngest son was playing on my mpc1000 spinning the data wheel nothing major so I thought, when I walked over to check him out the screen was blank and he was pushing buttons spinning the wheel. I think he managed to get in the global setting and screw up the contrast settings. I've checked the manuals and cant see how to change it back, Im flying blind because I dont know which buttons to push to get to the screen I need to, to reverse this. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

ok i found the answer, simply by pressing the stop button and turn the data wheel the screen will come back into focus. Im glad i didnt have to waste anyones time on this, it feels good when you can figure it out on your own! Peace

You're probably much happier that you found it yourself, otherwise you would have been flamed. Seriously, it would have been 2 pages of non-stop-flaming which included rants about RTFM, "whoa we have a genius here", "man, my dog can wipe his @ss on the ground and figure that out" ....

Again... be glad you found it ... :)

welcome! i see you have opted to accept responsibility for your n00bie status, and all that entails! just remember: when in doubt, your first action should always be to search among the resources you have in your posession! you will most always be able to find what you are looking for this way.
