look for a vinyl decal shop that does screen printing.

but first u have to find a template for them to work off of.

ok, phase two. i have gotten the wooden panels now, but am yet to attatch them. gotta put the coloured led's and screen in. such a long process! anyone know what kinda screws for the sides i need? i lost mine years ago and dont fancy taking my mpc into a hardware store to find the perfect fit. btw, the photo doesn't do it justice. now i know how people feel when someone says "why did you paint your mpc pink?" haha


i know it's metric,, cuz i had to go in and get some..but ill be damn if i remember what the size is fam..i know it's no help lol but i know it's metric!

thanks, i just tried to make it loo kas much like an old piece of gear as i could as opposed to all the futuristic stuff thats out there. i got a dbx117 and a melos echo chamber sitting here on my desk so i want it to fit in with those!

I finally found the screw/bolt size for the side of the mpc. for future reference, if anyone needs to know, they are size 4 x 15mm according to the packaging. 15mm is maybe to long for most but i needed that length to get my wooden sides on there so half of that or maybe even less will do ya...

ok. ccfl blue light into my screen! thanks to everyone the board that helped with all my mods so far. it was a little bit of a scary operation but worth it in the end. i'll post a pic v.soon...

i feel like the with the amount of people modding now, there should be a seperate section in the forums for modding. it makes total sense, so that the people that who don't care about modding dont have to view all our time wasting garbage haha :lol:

ok here's the blue screen. i also pulled the voume and record knobs off my dusted s1000 and i am going to put them on this mpc for a different look. they are smaller and chunkier looking. i don know what colour to paint them. unsure about all the buttons now. i have to drill into the back of them a little bit to make them fit but it'll be worth it...
