to sample and to synchronize to BPM

hello,

I am DJ, I have vinyls turntables, and I shall like to add to my set up various sounds, or even beats prerecorded or what I will sample has flight. I shall therefore want to lean over a sampler like MPC 2500 because it shall be for a nomadic use.
but before this I shall like to know if with this sampler it is possible to synchronize (stall in the tempo) easily sounds and beats that I shall send. can these sounds synchronize automatically?

I need an audio card ?

what are the connexions ?

Not really sure what you mean. Do you mean syncronize it do a digital recorder or DAW program? If so you just need some midi cables! If you have a hardware recorder, just the midi cables will work. If you are using a DAW like Pro Tools or Cubase, you need an interface with midi or a midi interface as well as midi cables. Research MIDI.

Also, to help with your english, everywhere you said "shall" in your question, in America we use "would" instead. So you would have said this instead "I am a DJ, I have vinyl turntables, and I would like to add to my set up various sounds,..."

"Shall" is used more like in a situation where you are definitely going to do something. For example, "I shall deliver this to you tomorrow." OR "Shall I deliver this to your home or work tomorrow?"

"Would" is used more like when you want to do something, but aren't definite on it. Almost like you are asking permission. "I would like to deliver this to you tomorrow." OR "Would you like me to deliver this to you tomorrow?"

the MPC could do that automatically ?

must i have an audio card and put the RCA cables and the cables of the MPC in this audio card for synchronise both ?

Hmmm! You can change the bpm yourself. There is no way for any external device to change the MPC's tempo, even through syncing. You could program a song in song mode and have the tempo changes come when you need them to. Still don't quite understand what you are trying to do though!

So you are gonna have to rehearse this at home before your gig and set up programs with the sounds you want. Set tune the samples so that they match the vinyl and when you get to your gig, just let the record play and hit the pad with the sound you need to match that record. Just gotta remember what pads you put your sounds at so you hit the right one!

ok, but for the tempo ?

You're gonna have to play the record and adjust the tune of the sample in the program screen until it matches the tempo of the record.
