no no, you are grounding yourself to the same as the case to explain it simply... that way when you touch inside you wont let out any static shock onto the parts (which will fry them)

just put a hand on the chasis (case) as you are about to touch an interior component and you should be fine.

actually just make sure you touch the metal framework on the MPC before touching any circuitry and you'll be fine.

if you walk away from it and come back do it again
