Where did you get those tube lights from and what voltage do they run off?

I'm lookin for a Beatdown 2KXL to mod out.....

I'm thinkin Blue screen like yours, good choice, then blue LED's all around...... (Where'd you get the tube?)

Black or Dark Blue paint, with Electric Blue text/art....

I'm stickin with the original look on the font. Simple. Clean.

As for my 4K, the wood is almost done (Function Button Cover, Screen Cover, Wrist Rest, Side Caps) All Cherry, just gotta stain and finish.

Top Panel and Chasis Chrome once my new screen shows up ($145 new).

Still gotta find a screen printer. Also gotta separate the screen from the backlight and make it blue or something.

i get my lights on ebay..i just type in 4 inch ccfl..not sure the voltage but ive installed 6 and they have all worked.

installing one at the moment...will be back with pics soon.

ok so with out thinking i installed the "uv" light hoping for super bright blue light,,,well anybody knows uv lights arent really that bright,,they just put off a different spectrum..so heres what i got,,but im changing to xenon or regular blue..not sure wich yet..

if you are refering to the cf drive,there was no soldering involved,only thing ive had to solder so far was the potentiometer for the jog.

^^yep,,what they are is,lights for the inside of a custom computer tower,so they come with transmitters and are usually in those little tubes..

try to crack it easily,then i use 2 pair of pliers and twist it...

I still don't understand how these are suppose to be wired.
Do you have a photo of the inside wiring connection for the tube lights?

what u have to do is cut the adapter off of your existing light and re-wire it to the new ccfl..then install it into the screen and voila..
