I am looking around for a GOOD outboard EQ. The TLAudio stuff has caught my eye (but not ears cos I havent heard yet).

I wanna keep it outboard (i currently use TC Powercore for EQ, but it's real harsh, and my Behringer desk EQ is a pile o' ****) and I like to overdrive stuff, especially valves.

Is anyone out there using the TLAudio EQ (5013) , or another EQ unit that they would recommend?

i would just get a good 3 channel eq mixer or a nice parametric.

But does any one recommend anything in particular. Currently using Behringer mixer, which desperately needs to be replaced. The eq is really brittle and unmusical. I don't really need channels and channels of eq when tracking, just stereo.

It's neither a tube eq or digital. It's good old solid state baby! Please don't believe that because something has tubes means it is good, that's b.s.
