MP2G does not turn on right=== HELP!

Here the deal-- it ocassionally turns on and works just fine.
But for the past couple months I have tried to turn it on and things like weird blobs and lines appear on the screen, and it doen't boot up.
Usually though, I just see a blank screen and hear no boot up noises.

But like I said, when it turns on, the screen is fine so its something past that.

One time it turned on and all the leds flashed continuously and it made a sound like it was trying to boot up but just couldnt get going.

Nobody i've talked to has a clue so if you have any idea please help me out, or if you know someone who fixes MPC's in the pacific northwest let me know as well.

one thing you can do (if you are game) is to pop it open and make sure all the ribbon connectors are well seated.

if you dopn't know what a ribbon connector is, or haqve any doubts, don't open your machine and take it to a pro.
