you're only asking for trouble if you spare expenses when it comes to vintage stuff. trust me. i found out the hard way. it's very difficult to find someone as dedicated to providing quality products and support for older mpc's as scsiforsamplers is.

Thank you very much for the positive opinions from you guys. I don't consider my products "pricey", although I know some people do.

I didn't buy up all the Spyrus card reader drives - that dude on eBay did and he is the only source, apart from the ones I get in occasionally.

I charge $25.00 for the Sprus RD300 external to internal mod and it involves some very detailed technical wizardy that no one else but me can do ;0)

I am about to start selling some really cool internal 9GB SCSI solid-state storage devices that run on 5 volts, weigh just a few ounces, put out zero noise or heat and can be velcroed anywhere inside most samplers. I plan to offer a kit for internal installation into the MPC2000XL and selected other Akai samplers, as well as the Ensoniq ASR-10 and the Korg Triton.
