How do I use more than one program for one sequence?

Hi, I just got this and I can't find it in the manual. Also, what is the best way to make new programs. When I add samples from my memory card, I have to scroll all the way to the end with my jog wheel and pick the sample to assign to the pad. Then I have to scroll all the way back to the end again to pick the next one. And it takes like 10 seconds each time.!

That's how you have to do it. The only way it'll do it for you is in the chop shop when you convert the chops to individual samples and select yes for new program. Otherwise, you have to do it manually or on MPC editor.

To use multiple programs in a sequence just assign each program to a track.

holy shit! this sucks major. i mean you should be able to hold down shift and turn the jog wheel and skip through like 10 files or so. because if i chop 50 samples it would take 25 minutes to scroll through all that shit each time........

JJOS doesnt fix this?

There are shortcuts in JJ.
Right now I run the free jjos for the 2500.
Let's say I want to add 16 samples to a program with 16 samples already assigned to pad a1- a16
Go to global program edit, select every pad from b1 to b16. Now u can assign one of the samples to all these pads.
The only thing u have to do now is scroll only a few samples up or down for every pad individually.

With JJOS1 on the 1k u can do this even faster.
In global program edit mode u can use the window butten when u highlight the sample field. Press window, and u can assign the sample to the pad that was selected/edited last. Move up to the next pad, window button, scroll one sample down, confirm, next pad, window button, scroll one sample down, etc.

Hope this makes a lil bit of sense.

Can't recommend BlueBox program editor enough.....

*Put all required wavs in a folder (on PC)...
*Open BlueBox
*'Bulk upload files' from folder (as above)
*'save program as' to same folder.
*Import from PC > MPC...

Simple as that.
