But they work very well. My paint of choice was Krylon before they changed it to a female tip and watered it down. That's why if you find old Krylon at liquidation stores out here you buy it up. I bet there's alot of warehouses in the US full of the old stuff. Anything Rusto related is great too including color vision. Montana is super easy to paint with but I like to mix it up on every piece I do. I hate kids who only paint with Montana and can't paint very well.

Ah ah! I didn't think I'd create a debate around Montana paint. No such things as German Montana (aka the great rip off), Sparvar and Belton any day, but Montana 's Spanish! Give it up for the benches outside the Bunker store in Barcelona, where many a mission started... Peace to everyone,

we can still get the normal cans up here in canada... but I hear they are planning to change entirely to cans that require female caps...


I wouldn't miss krylon anyways. I like the cans because almost every tip fits on them. the pain on the other hand is mostly crap besides the ultra flat black.

O.G. Montana Spain made a deal with 3M Germany back in the day for massive production, which unfortunately ended up in a lawsuit about the name/patent. 3M won the brandname but the Spanish kept the color patent and switched to MTN.

If you rocked o.g. Montana's, buy MTN.

However, my weapon of choice was always Belton's, even under the Molotow wing.

yup same here, i painted my first piece with the Belton RAL: rasperry violet, mint green, basic black (or was it matte) and basic white ohhhh those memories

I painted my first piece with krylon, color place and rustoleum (the ones from walmart)


we didn't even have montanas back in those days... we used to get rustos from cans of lubricant for cars in the hardware store. Although, we are behind the graff times here in canada compared to older cities such as NY and LA.

he has TONS of keyboards. Look in the first edition of scratch magazine to see the complete studio... Fender Rhodes, moogs, nord, waldorf, all types of shit
