It's not a 3000, cuz the pads are on the right side of the faceplate.
It's not a 1000 because it has a flip up screen and the big pads.
It can't be a 60 mk1, because it's not big enough and data wheel isn't correct.
It can't be a 4000 or 5000 because of the size, datawheel and sliders.
It can't be a 2500, cuz the data wheel is on the left, and not the right side.

Damn, looks almost like a 'find the differences' puzzle

Its a blacked out 2kxl, without a doubt. You can tell just by looking at the side panel of the machine. Unless of course it was a prop, in which case it was modeled after an xl.

It cant be a 5000 or a 2500 because neither unit was in production at the time of the commercial. It is CLEARLY a prop fellas. Look at the riverts...that's a dead giveaway there. And this is a subject brought back from the dead ...2wice!!!

Necroing this thread. I have to agree that it’s a prop, the screen is middle to right (could be a perspective thing though) and the pads are on the right, too. Plus the screws on the side are in a different position from the 2kxl (which is the only half viable model).

Any new insights on this age old discussion?
